Bio
My name is William H. Davis, Jr., I produce and perform my own music, as an Independent Recording Artist. My artist/performer name is Jazz 1 The Soloist. I do this because I enjoy writing songs, and creating instrumental parts to accompany those songs.
I just play Jazz "Free Style" by using various scales and simple chord progressions, to see how the songs that I create will come to life. I also use a computer in my music production process, so I consider myself an Electronic Music Producer, as well.
I also play keyboards, which adds a different favor when I include this stylistic choice, in my musical works. And, it allows me to incorporate a variety of melodies, and other unique sounds into my instrumental concepts. I call it improvisation of many sorts at best. This is the musical journey that I have embraced...!
My whole ideology of musical creation, as an Independent Recording Artist is computer based. I built my very own "Home Recording Studio." And, I wrote a book and published it, on Amazon entitled: HOW TO BUILD A HOME STUDIO (on a small budget).
Each song that I produce is my own original creative idea, using only a computer and a (DAW) Digital Audio Workstation, as my creative platform. "That is how I roll...!"
I hope you will like something that I have produced for your listening pleasure, if not at this time, maybe the next time will be a better. I am the Writer, Publisher, Producer, and Musician of all the music you will hear from me. Moreover, if it is a collaboration project, I will acknowledge the contribution of others.
However, I have created this music to provide you, "the listener" with some pleasing elements, that I hope would make you, want to hear more of my music, and songs. Thank you for, "taking the time, too listen...!" This is my story.
